Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world, nearly 1,600 kilometres from the dry spiny south to the rainforest of the north, with the highlands and the capital on a ridge down the middle. Regions have been added since the older maps were drawn, so a round there is easy to lose to one that did not exist a few years ago. These two quizzes cut the same map two ways: the 24 regions to learn first, and the 120 districts beneath them for when that stops being difficult. The regions are grouped by the six old provinces, which Malagasy people still use, and the districts by region, so what you learn on one carries to the other.
