Liberia is a small country on the Atlantic coast of West Africa, a rough rectangle of rainforest, rubber plantations and iron-ore hills running from the beaches of Monrovia to the Guinean highlands in the north. Most of the people, and most of the roads, are in the south west near the capital, so a round there tends to be a question of how far inland and how far along the coast you are. These two quizzes cut the same map two ways: the 15 counties to learn first, and the 136 districts beneath them for when the counties stop being a challenge. The counties are grouped into the five regions of the census and the districts by county, so what you learn on one carries to the other.
