Sudan is the Nile and the country around it: a thin green line of farms and cities running north from the meeting of the Blue and White Niles at Khartoum, with desert to the north and east, the Red Sea hills on the coast, and the savanna of Darfur and Kordofan stretching west and south. These two quizzes cut the same map two ways: the 18 states to learn first, with the disputed Abyei Area drawn as its own piece, and the 189 localities beneath them for when the states stop being a challenge. The states are grouped into five parts of the country and the localities by state, so what you learn on one carries to the other.
